The Brief
Annelie needed to uplift the aged, neglected backyard area of her cottage. We were to use what we could material wise and create an area where one can relax and feel uplifted.
Our Approach
The ground was very uneven and packed with mixed pavers, rising sand & grass. We employed our landscaper to clear, flatten, compact and prepare the area for pavers. Together we laid out the pavers (all 2nd hand with 4 different sizes and patterns) to create a uniform aesthetic. We then painted them all a light grey to deflect heat come summer. Our landscaper finished off the area with bricked borders and stone chips in between the pavers. Annelie was then left to furnish the area & she wished.
The Outcome
Within 3 ½ days our client was ready to invite friends over and enjoy sundowners. Annelie was beaming from ear to ear and the outcome outdid her expectations & we also saved her R6000.00 by cleaning, painting & re-using the pavers.
