Why Urban Revamp

Cape Town's Reputable Property Renovation & Design Team

Every underperforming space is quietly holding value — most property owners simply don’t know how to unlock it yet.
We believe spaces carry an emotional weight. A well-designed environment uplifts the people within it, while a neglected one can subtly drain energy, productivity, and pride. That’s why we see every property — no matter how dated or tired — as a version of itself waiting to be revealed.
What sets Urban Revamp apart is not only the quality of our outcomes, but the way we deliver them. We combine architectural thinking, interior design expertise, and practical on-site experience to manage your project with the same care we would apply to our own investment.

Over 10 years of architectural and interior design experience
A trusted network of vetted contractors and suppliers
Residential, commercial, and parastatal project experience
Clear timelines, structured processes, zero guesswork
Registered company based in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs

Meet the team

Architectural & Design Experts in Cape Town

Urban Revamp is built on two things: technical precision and a genuine love for beautiful spaces. Together, Berni and Danielle bring a rare blend of architectural knowledge, creative vision, and an eye for the details that make a property truly stand out.

Co-Founder

Professional Senior Architectural Technologist & Interior Designer

Hi, I’m Danielle — co-founder of Urban Revamp, architectural professional, and interior designer. I’ve spent the last decade helping homeowners renovate and reimagine their spaces in a way that feels exciting instead of overwhelming.
I understand how stressful building projects can be, especially when you’re investing a significant amount into your home. That’s why I’m passionate about guiding clients through the process with clarity, honesty, and attention to detail — helping them avoid costly mistakes and make confident decisions along the way.
From home renovations and interior transformations to residential developments, I love creating spaces that not only look beautiful but truly support the way people live every day. My approach is hands-on and considered, ensuring every project feels thoughtfully managed from concept through to completion.

Co-Founder

Project Management Specialist

Hi I’m Berni – co-founder of Urban Revamp. I have a strong background in project management — a skill that has always come naturally to me. For several years, I managed corporate events in Namibia and I further developed excellent organisational, coordination, and project management skills in various revamp projects over the last 15 years in my private capacity.
Joining forces with Danielle and officially creating a company that feels more like a hobby than a ‘job’ has brought my dream to life. I know that our clients will be absolutely thrilled to see their ‘dream’ spaces come to life without going through any stress & sleepless nights as we take that load off completely.

Client & contractor feedback

The Feedback We're Proud Of

Robin V Team Joinery

"What stands out is that you are very organised and structured in the way that you do things. We knew exactly what was required and were able to work with you on the project and not 'for you'. You make the team feel welcome and ensure contractors don't step on each other's toes. Urban Revamp is such a great pleasure to work with."

"Their initial brief with the client made it easy for us to supply a detailed design and quote. Berni and Danielle managed all the various contractors quite strictly and made sure we had clear timelines. This prevented delays and enabled us to install the garden timeously with no damage afterwards."

Urban Revamp literally transformed an old out dated uneven backyard into a beautiful tranquil outdoor patio. They advised that by just painting the old pavers we would save over R6000 which was a bonus. Thank you, Berni & Danielle, for the great suggestions, quick turn around & pleasant staff that were polite & exceptionally neat. I will definitely use your services again for my next project.

Verné B CEO of Bluestone Digital

I absolutely love my new office! Urban Revamp has transformed what was once just a functional workspace into a beautiful, warm and welcoming space that truly feels like my own.
My office is where I spend so much of my time, and as a creative person, it was important to me to have an environment that inspires me, makes me feel comfortable and allows my creativity to flow.
What I love most is how Urban Revamp managed to bring everything together so beautifully while incorporating my existing furniture. Every little detail, from the soft curtains and beautiful rug to the artwork, cushions and finishing touches, has made such a difference.
My office now feels like so much more than just a place to work. It's my personal space, somewhere I can think, create, feel inspired and genuinely enjoy spending my days.
I couldn't be happier with the transformation. Urban Revamp understood what I wanted to achieve and brought it to life in a way that feels so personal to me.
Thank you, Urban Revamp, for creating a space that I absolutely love walking into every morning!
